Fees & Rebates

NorthScope Psychology Clinic charges $300 per 50 minutes for all consultations (inclusive of GST), which is below the current Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee schedule of $311.

The Medicare rebate per 50 minute consultation is $96.65. However, to be eligible to receive psychological services under Medicare, a referral from a General Practitioner or a Psychiatrist is required. Medicare allows you to claim a rebate of up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Please note NorthScope Psychology charges a gap payment of $203.35 per consult.

• Note that you do not require a referral from a General Practitioner or Psychiatrist to access psychological services unless you intend to claim a Medicare rebate.

A portion of your fees may be redeemed from your private health insurance provider, depending on your health care plan.

Our Psychologists are NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) workers compensation accredited and are able to provide psychological services to clients currently under this system.

Corporate consultations attract a minimum $10 per hour premium and travel charges apply.

Payments:

Payment can be made via EFTPOS or credit card only. For corporate services invoices are provided.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:

Once the appointment is booked it is reserved for you.

NorthScope Psychology follows the Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended cancellation fees:

• 0 – 24 hours = Full Fee
• 24 – 48 hours = 50% Fee
